Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, insurance or risk management; related field accepted.
• High School diploma required.
• A proven experience handling insurance claims.
• Prior Senior Casualty experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own complex litigated auto and homeowners claims from start to resolution.
• Provide clear direction to defense counsel and negotiate settlements.
• Evaluate settlements, establish authority, and monitor costs and indemnity exposure.
• Lead strategy discussions with defense counsel and participate in mediations.
• Authorize budgets for outside counsel and review related expenses.
• Prepare and present litigated case recommendations to management.
• Secure authority for resolution up to the highest levels.
