Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced insurance claims professional to join our practice with travel to client sites. You will work alongside forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys, risk managers, brokers, and insurers to quantify complex insurance claims and support policyholders through the claims process.

Responsibilities include analysis, preparation, and management of claims arising from property damage, BI, cyber incidents and other disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics plus strong accounting industry knowledge.
• 2+ years at an accounting or consulting firm in forensic accounting or dispute & damages.
• Pursuing or holding a professional designation (CPA/CFE/CFF).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, preparation, and management of complex commercial insurance claims.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Gather and evaluate claim-related information and assess financial impacts for well-supported submissions.
• Travel and client-site presence will be required; on-site collaboration with EY teams.
