Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced insurance claims professional to join our practice in the Dallas area. You will work with forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys, risk managers, brokers, and insurers to quantify complex claims arising from hurricanes, cyber incidents, and other catastrophic events.

You will analyze, prepare and manage claims related to property damage, business interruption, and other operational disruptions while collaborating with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics required.
• 2+ years in forensic accounting or dispute & damages at an accounting or consulting firm.
• Pursuit or holding of CPA, CFE, or CFF designation preferred.
• Strong organization, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when needed.
• Reliable transportation and driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, preparation, and management of complex commercial insurance claims for property damage, BI, cyber incidents, and other losses.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers, and stakeholders to gather claim information and develop substantiated submissions.
• Travel and client-site presence required; participate in on-site and in-office work as needed.
• Leverage technical skills to assess and resolve client needs and provide high-quality deliverables.
