Job summary

EY seeks an experienced insurance claims Manager to lead complex recovery engagements for large-loss events in a consulting setting. You will guide corporate policyholders, brokers and insurers, shaping claim strategies and directing teams through multimillion-dollar recoveries.

The role requires robust knowledge of property, business interruption, cyber and related first-party claims, with travel to client sites and a strong client‑facing focus. Hybrid EY environment with broad opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of commercial insurance claims experience.
• Experience as Property/Adjuster/Big Loss Adjuster or similar claims professional.
• Strong understanding of commercial property, business interruption, cyber, builder’s risk and other first‑party claims.
• Experience managing large and complex losses with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional designation such as CPCU, CPA, CFE, or CFF.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial, economic and strategic advice to companies with complex disaster recovery and insurance claims.
• Read, summarize and advise clients regarding multiple types of insurance policies and their coverages.
• Develop claim strategies based on the policy and claim type.
• Advise clients throughout their financial recovery by exploring all available coverages.
• Navigate how to track and place costs within the policy for claim preparation.
