Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines, offering remote work with optional on-site support in the Eastern/Central time zones. The role supports account teams, under supervision of AM/AE/Producer, to ensure accurate policy administration and service quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, knowledge of brokerage processes, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related paperwork.
• Support new and renewal business: research, submissions, proposals, bind coverage, follow-up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
