Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. You will work under supervision to ensure quality standards, manage policy renewals, and assist with submissions, bind coverage, and contract reviews while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely communication, with a remote/hybrid work model within the Eastern and Central Time Zones

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages, bind coverage, issue policies.
