Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team and Producer with policy management, renewals, submissions, and client service. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and proactive communication across carriers and clients.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in insurance customer service, broker knowledge, active licensing (CISR preferred), and strong MS Office skills to deliver high-quality service and maintain data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing issues
• Assist in submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, and bind coverage
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests
• Stay updated on company policies and seek process improvements
