Kodiak Gas Services in Pecos, TX seeks a fully proficient senior field technician to lead compressor and gas process operations. You will mentor crew, troubleshoot complex repairs, and support area management. Strong electrical troubleshooting, HS diploma, and 5+ years in compression are required, with a preference for SSE graduates.

Expect 24/7 coverage, overtime, and on-call rotations, with emphasis on safety, customer relations, and efficient maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in compression, production, or related field.
• Experience with gas processing and compressor packages.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program is preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic budgeting knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead one or more compressor jobs and mentor field technicians.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment and electrical issues.
• Ensure 98%+ mechanical availability and safe operation.
• Maintain equipment, documents, and reports per procedures.
• Build customer relationships and coordinate with Area Manager.
• Provide 24/7 coverage, overtime, and on-call as required.
