Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking an Automation Technician in the service department to troubleshoot and repair electronics used in the automation of large industrial processes.
You will identify parts, calibrate instrumentation, modify PLC/HMI programs, and support installation and commissioning efforts at customer sites. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechatronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 5–7 years of experience in engineering or industrial controls, and the

- Bachelor's or equivalent in Mechatronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
- 7 years of experience in engineering or construction (AEC) industry or similar field.
- Mechatronics or related discipline preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Read and interpret diagrams and communicate with customers to understand objectives and preferences.
- Modify PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages.
- Modify HMI and develop small applications.
- Test the installed system to observe functionality and ensure programs work as designed.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware interface issues and resolve problems.
- Interface with software and hardware vendors regarding problem diagnosis and resolution.
