Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an Instrumentation Technician II to troubleshoot and repair electronic instrumentation used in large industrial processes.

You will assist with system integration projects, identify parts, program PLCs and HMIs, test functions, and develop documentation. Travel to customer sites as required; 4 years of experience; strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, PID loops, Ethernet, and PLC/HMI systems; join a team of professionals in a growth‑focused workplace

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience as an instrumentation technician.
• Solid understanding of AC/DC drives and PID loops.
• Strong PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Ethernet communications and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, install, test, and commission instrumentation.
• Calibrate and repair instrumentation and I/O systems.
• Set up instrumentation and calibrate to specifications per schematics.
• Travel to customer sites to provide services as required.
• Produce reports and documentation from testing and commissioning.
