Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer for a hybrid role across Cincinnati, OH; Conshohocken, PA; Indianapolis, IN; and Cary, NC.

You will lead I&C engineering and design on complex projects, mentoring multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with the discipline lead to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience as Control Systems Engineer.
• Experience in Bio Pharma, Pharmaceutical & Lab process Instrumentation and controls preferred.
• Knowledge of International codes like ASME BPE, Dairy, Hygienic systems (Process, water system, Clean steam etc)
• Knowledgeable of Life Science Industry Automation, DCS and PLC control systems, and development of P&ID’s, control system architectures and associated design deliverables and field instrumentation
• Must be able to travel to client’s facilities for presentations, site surveys and field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C engineering and design activities for assigned projects.
• Manage domestic and international teams and mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and Jacobs standards.
• Develop scopes of work, manhour estimates, I&C Execution Plans, and required resources.
• Coordinate on-site startup activities and align with discipline lead.
• Review deliverables for codes, specs, design criteria, and engineering practices.
