Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Senior Instrument Calibration Technician V to join the Metrology team. You will perform advanced calibration, maintenance, installation, and modification of electrical and pneumatic instrumentation across manufacturing operations.

This role requires 5+ years of experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to train and guide other technicians.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in process instrumentation and calibration
Pharma manufacturing or regulated-industry experience preferred
Advanced metrology knowledge and calibration cert requirements
Strong ability to read wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&IDs
Experience with PLCs, microprocessors, automated control systems
Knowledge of GMP/GDP and ISO/IEC 17025 where applicable

Responsibilities

Calibrate instrumentation including temperature, pressure, conductivity, pH, flow, and related systems
Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic instrumentation and control systems
Review calibration reports, verify out-of-tolerance conditions and initiate corrective actions
Plan, schedule, and coordinate routine and non-routine calibration activities
Train and guide other technicians, coordinate metrology activities when supervisor unavailable
Support new installations, modifications, and project activities with Engineering/PMO
