Job summary

Takeda in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks an Instrument Calibration Technician V to serve as a senior metrology resource. You will perform advanced calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and modification of a wide range of instrumentation across manufacturing operations.

The role requires 5+ years in process instrumentation, strong independent judgment, and the ability to guide technicians while coordinating daily metrology activities with Engineering, Maintenance, Process Control, PMO, and

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma; two-year technical associate degree preferred in metrology or instrumentation.
5+ years of experience in process instrumentation and calibration, pharma/manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of metrology, calibration techniques, measurement systems, and calibration standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and modification of instrumentation.
Calibrate instrumentation including temperature, pressure, conductivity, pH, flow, and related systems.
Review calibration reports, verify out-of-tolerance conditions, and initiate corrective actions for safe operations.
Plan and schedule routine and non-routine calibration activities balancing metrology needs with production schedules.
Train and provide technical guidance to other technicians.
