United Petroleum Transports seeks a Senior Instructional Designer & Learning Consultant to join our growing Organizational Development team at the Corporate Office in Oklahoma City. You will lead end-to-end projects across safety, compliance, onboarding, and leadership development, partnering with drivers, dispatchers, and leaders to uncover real needs and deliver measurable learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of progressive instructional design experience end to end.
• Experience in performance consulting to uncover real problems before proposing solutions.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory in real projects.
• Structured design methodology used to lead projects from analysis through evaluation.
• Experience designing multiple modalities: eLearning, video, instructor-led, job aids, performance support.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end across safety, compliance, operations, onboarding, leadership development, and enterprise initiatives—from the first conversation through launch and beyond.
• Consult across the organization; gather tacit knowledge from drivers, technicians, dispatchers, and leaders.
• Identify the real problem and recommend the right solution, including non-training options.
• Decide what gets built and in which modality: eLearning, video, ILT, blended, job aids, or performance support.
• Produce accurate, accessible, professional work and manage delivery.
• Measure impact and iterate based on business results.
• Research internal assets, external benchmarks, and AI-enabled approaches to speed the work.
• Manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed in a fast-paced setting.
