Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead learning initiatives from discovery through evaluation. You will partner with leaders, SMEs, and employees to understand performance gaps and craft impactful learning experiences.

The role demands independent work, strong project management, and the ability to drive end-to-end design while applying accessibility standards and leveraging modern tools including AI-enabled solutions. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive instructional design experience with full lifecycle projects.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience conducting needs/performance analyses to select solutions.
• Develop content across formats and delivery methods.
• Experience creating eLearning, video, ILT, job aids, or performance support.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design initiatives from discovery to evaluation.
• Collaborate with SMEs, leaders, and staff to identify learning needs.
• Assess requests and decide on best training solution.
• Create engaging materials using multiple formats and tools.
• Measure effectiveness and adjust programs based on results.
• Research resources and emerging tech to improve solutions.
• Leverage AI and modern learning tech to improve efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with clear communication.
• Help establish design processes, templates, and standards.
• Provide occasional LMS/support for learning initiatives.
