Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer & Learning Consultant who investigates the business need, determines the solution, and manages projects from discovery through implementation and evaluation.

The ideal candidate works independently, collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, and takes ownership when routes aren’t clearly defined. This role emphasizes impactful learning programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive instructional design experience.
• Experience with needs or performance analysis to determine learning solutions.
• Experience delivering learning content across multiple formats (eLearning, video, ILT).
• Understanding ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design initiatives from discovery through evaluation.
• Collaborate with leaders and employees to understand performance challenges.
• Determine whether training or another solution best addresses business needs.
• Develop engaging learning experiences across formats.
• Create accessible, polished learning materials.
• Measure effectiveness and adjust programs based on results.
• Research and apply AI-enabled learning technologies to improve efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Help establish design processes, templates, and standards.
