Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Installation Manager to support installation, project management, and service teams to boost branch operating profit through improved first-time-through and reduced remakes. The role emphasizes coaching, product, and installation knowledge, with accountability for margins and collaboration with sales and service functions.

You will directly train and coach both subcontractor and internal installation staff, drive training programs, and lead safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable accident and moving violation record.
• Minimum of 5 years in home improvement or related field.
• Computer skills and management of computer-based information.
• Customer orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, preferred.
• Experience recruiting and managing independent contractors, preferred.
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
• Basic financial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ride-a-long field training with weekly training days; observe, demonstrate, debrief, and document results.
• Analyze metrics to identify training focus areas and deliver targeted training to improve FTT, remakes, construction, service, and homeowner satisfaction.
• Partner with branch leadership to resolve issues and improve back-office processes and paperwork.
• Collaborate with product knowledge experts to deliver monthly training on product, installation, and service knowledge.
• Meet or exceed margins and revenue goals by ensuring a capable workforce and appropriate outsourcing.
• Lead safety initiatives in installation processes and ensure regulatory training is completed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures and other duties assigned by Supervisor.
• Directly train, manage, and coach all installation process employees and subcontractors.
