Job summary

Philo is a streaming service seeking a Senior Business Insights Analyst to help make better, faster decisions through rigorous analysis and trusted metrics. You will own recurring KPI reporting and ad-hoc analyses, presenting clear, decision-ready recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business insights, analytics, or related fields.
• Advanced SQL skills with large datasets.
• Strong data visualization and self-serve reporting experience.
• Proven ability to translate questions into structured analyses and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder partnership across multiple functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core dashboards and ad-hoc analyses for subscriber growth, revenue, and billing health.
• Translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical plans and actionable findings.
• Build expertise in Philo's billing and subscription ecosystem (trials, churn, renewals, add-ons).
• Identify levers to improve subscriber health and revenue retention.
• Partner with Growth, Lifecycle Marketing, Product, and Data Science on funnel and engagement analytics.
• Support customer-facing and operations teams with insights to reduce friction.
• Create executive-ready materials connecting numbers to narrative for decisions.
• Improve data quality through instrumentation, governance, and source-of-truth logic.
