Job summary
Veeam is seeking a Senior Inside Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team in Australia/New Zealand. You will educate partners, resellers, and end users on Veeam’s data protection, cyber resilience, and data intelligence offerings.
The role blends presales leadership with technical architectural guidance to close opportunities. You will work remotely or in a hybrid setup, collaborate with Inside Sales, and deliver impactful demonstrations while staying current with product
Qualifications
- Pre-sales experience in an IT software vendor or partner.
- Technical familiarity with Veeam Data Cloud/Data Platform.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud-native tech (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, data management, AI/cybersecurity concepts.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; remote and in-person delivery.
Responsibilities
- Position products with sales teams to win new business opportunities.
- Manage technical evaluation stage as main technical advisor.
- Deliver web-based and on-site demos of Veeam solutions.
