Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Systems Engineer (pre-sales) to join our regional team. You will partner with sales to demonstrate Veeam solutions to partners and end users, drive technical evaluations, and help exceed regional goals.

You will travel up to 25%–50% to engage customers and partners, deliver on-site and web-based demos, and collaborate with R&D to relay customer feedback while promoting cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales experience at enterprise IT software vendors.
• Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center.
• Broad knowledge of data management, storage, and networking.
• Willingness to discuss cloud technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
• Comfortable presenting to groups, remote or in person.
• Able to spend 25–50% of time with customers and partners.
• Self-starter with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments where roles change.
• Able to promote and grow the Veeam community via social media.

Responsibilities

• Position Veeam products to both partners and end-users to help to overachieve sales goals.
• Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solution.
• Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software.
• Work closely with Veeam's value-added resellers, including enablement, joint meetings and building relationships.
• Work closely with development to provide customer feedback.
