Job summary

VSE Aviation in the United States is seeking a Sr. Inside Sales Representative responsible for establishing and maintaining direct contact with customers to execute sales and support growth goals. You will own customer relationships and coordinate with product line managers on pricing initiatives.

The role involves managing sales pipelines, tracking data, and providing excellent after-sales service to retain customers, while developing business with both existing and new clients.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and maintaining customer contact for sales.
• Ability to review orders and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Proven track record in developing business with existing and new customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer and prepare communications for quotes, orders, and other customer requests.
• Review and process orders, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
• Responsible for customer experience and KPI’s.
• Follow up on actionable items and tracks requirements to ensure completion through processes.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
• Identify potential customers through networking initiatives, cold-calling, and email communications.
• Research competitors’ products, pricing, and product success to determine customer preferences.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet plans and assist with customer requirements.
• Keep management informed by preparing results, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Provide support and training for less experienced Sales Representatives as needed.
• Support department manager in day-to-day tasks.
• Expand industry knowledge by attending educational workshops and reading professional publications.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
