Core & Main, a national supplier of water, wastewater, and fire protection products, is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional in Irving, TX. The role supports Outside Sales, drives the sales process from open to close, and mentors branch associates while delivering responsive customer service and industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in inside sales, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to manage quotes, pricing, and deliveries to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
• Generally 5-7 years of experience in related area of responsibility.
• 5-7 years of experience selling in an inside sales environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the sales process from open to close for select Outside Sales accounts.
• Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
• Mentor branch associates and provide guidance to inside sales staff.
• Assist in resolving customer service issues including product availability, price, warranty, and delivery.
• Create purchase orders and follow up on orders to ensure full shipment and expedit e back orders.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders for customers and outside sales staff with pricing and availability.
