Job summary

CSS is seeking a Senior Representative - Inside Sales in Pleasanton, CA to work with existing customers, drive sales of our products, and upsell services. You will own a book of larger accounts and collaborate with outside sales to meet goals.

The role emphasizes proactive selling, building strong relationships, and leveraging knowledge of products to create value in the buying experience. Travel is limited to 0–25% and compensation includes a base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4–5 years of inside sales, sales administration experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and mentor others.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Meets and exceeds performance metrics on volume, profitability, penetration, and efficiency objectives.
• Markets products and offers value-added services.
• Develops strong business relationships in growing existing accounts and prospect for opportunities within account base.
• Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, national accounts.
• Keeps abreast of new products and shares competitive knowledge.
• Reports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.
• May function as the lead for other ISRs with respect to processes, systems, customers, etc.
