Job summary

CSS is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to engage with existing customers, increase sales of products and services, and upsell orders. The role focuses on proactive selling, enhancing the customer buying experience, and collaborating with outside sales to meet goals.

You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders while maintaining satisfaction and value in each interaction. The position involves mild travel (0–25%) and commissions in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of sales experience and sales administration knowledge.
• Clear verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to multitask in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter orders via email and phone, explain delivery dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and leveraging customer history.
• Own and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and accounts.
• Identify process improvements and travel up to 25% as needed.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to secure orders or identify reasons for losses.
• Review open orders and take action to meet delivery promises.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and notify customers.
