Job summary

SIS is seeking an Inside Mortgage Sales - Manager in Chicago to lead a Consumer Direct loan-officer team and drive growth, production, and customer experience. This non-producing role reports to the EVP of Inside Sales and will guide strategy, forecasting, and workforce planning.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration to build a high-performing sales organization with strong compliance and delivery of customer experience while supporting growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of mortgage industry experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of management experience.
• Proven experience leading Consumer Direct teams.
• Experience managing inside-sales teams.
• Workforce management expertise.
• Understanding of telephony metrics.
• Call-quality monitoring and analysis.
• Report-driven coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update team-level monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts using pipeline activity and expected production; report progress, variances, and issues to the EVP, Inside Sales.
• Monitor team performance against established KPIs and productivity standards for production, conversion, profitability, customer experience, and employee performance; coach Loan Officers and implement action plans to meet origination goals.
• Maintain team sales reports and provide accurate updates for leadership dashboards covering production, pipeline health, lead follow-up, and operational efficiency; identify issues and recommend corrective actions to EVP, Inside Sales.
• Support EVP, Inside Sales in implementing annual business plans, growth strategies, sales initiatives, and departmental objectives; translate priorities into daily team activities and monitor progress.
• Monitor market conditions, competitive pricing, and borrower feedback; share observations with EVP, Inside Sales and help the team apply product and sales guidance.
• Lead day-to-day lead distribution and follow-up in accordance with lead management strategies; monitor execution and coach to improve conversion.
• Review team lead performance and borrower journey metrics to identify missed follow-ups and conversion opportunities; implement improvements to support campaigns and portfolio recapture.
