Job summary

Bsdbusinessconsulting in Chicago, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead its consumer direct team of Loan Officers. You will report to the EVP of Inside Sales and own the team's results: lead conversion, pipeline, forecasting, staffing and growth of your people.

A big part of the job is recapture, helping existing customers with their next loan, with a portfolio recapture goal of 80% or more. A strong mortgage background and NMLS license are required.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license (required).
• 5+ years in mortgage sales and operations.
• 3+ years managing people and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Comfortable with loan origination systems, CRMs, sales tech and Excel.
• Retention/recapture experience at a servicer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of inside sales Loan Officers.
• Build forecasts from pipeline data and report progress to leadership.
• Track KPIs for production, conversion, speed to lead and satisfaction.
• Manage daily lead distribution and follow-up to prevent aging.
• Run staffing forecasts and call routing for proper coverage.
• Design training on sales technique, mortgage products and compliance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Underwriting, Closing, Compliance and Tech.
• Contribute to sales compensation plans and recognition programs.
• Ensure compliance with RESPA, HMDA and lending rules.
