Job summary

The Supervisory Inpatient/Outpatient MRT Coder role at Fidelity Partners, supporting the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, is a full-time contractor position based in Cleveland, OH. Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and fluency in spoken and written English.
• Current AHIMA or AAPC credential maintained throughout performance.
• At least two years of continuous professional coding experience in a VA-like setting.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, E/M coding and provider queries.
• Familiarity with Oracle Health coding workflows; Solventum CRS, VistA, CPRS, VIRR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inpatient, outpatient, professional, ambulatory-surgery and lead coding personnel.
• Establish, monitor, and report productivity, accuracy, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate schedules, leave, training, and corrective actions.
• Monitor coding work queues, claims, audits, denials, and compliance issues.
• Provide education and direction on coding regulations and VA procedures.
• Coordinate with VA leadership on revenue-cycle and operational priorities.
• Develop corrective actions and process improvements when needed.
