Job summary

Fidelity Partners seeks an experienced Inpatient/Outpatient MRT Coder Lead for the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System in Cleveland. You will lead medical coding for inpatient and outpatient services, provide technical guidance to the coding team, and coordinate workflows to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires AHIMA or AAPC credential and at least two years of coding experience in a complex healthcare setting, with proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/HCPCS, and Oracle Health

Qualifications

• Current AHIMA or AAPC credential maintained throughout performance.
• Two years of continuous professional coding experience in a VA-level or equivalent complex healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, E/M coding and provider queries.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review inpatient, outpatient, professional, and surgical coding as assigned.
• Provide technical guidance on coding standards and provider queries.
• Monitor workflows, queues, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze coding reports, trends, audits, and corrective actions.
• Train and orient coding personnel and communicate regulatory updates.
