Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance on injection molding equipment at the OKOK/OKC plant. You will act as the technical expert, diagnose complex issues, and ensure high equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance, and partnering with production to minimize downtime while maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of injection molding maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
• Train and mentor technicians to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
