Job summary

Amcor is seeking a maintenance technician at the OKOK Oklahoma City Plant to inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. The role emphasizes troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while maintaining accurate work records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and maintenance training or experience, plus basic computer skills and the ability to use hand tools to support safe, efficient production operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Training in major areas of maintenance and/or two years of experience preferred.
• Functional knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair/maintenance on manufacturing equipment, with one year minimum practical application.
• Basic knowledge and ability to use hand tools.
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Maintain records of work in work order systems and communicate within the department.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas.
• Follow safety precautions, PPE requirements, and food safety requirements per SQF.
