Job summary

Amcor in Oklahoma City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment, ensuring reliable operation and minimal downtime in a fast-paced factory setting.

You will inspect, lubricate, adjust components, document activities in CMMS, and collaborate with production and engineering to minimize disruption while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years maintenance experience, preferably in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Basic CMMS experience.
• Effective communication and teamwork; able to work independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical components per maintenance schedules.
• Document maintenance activities, findings, and corrective actions in CMMS.
• Identify potential equipment issues and report to maintenance team.
• Replace worn/damaged parts and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with equipment calibration and validation procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area following safety and 5S standards.
• Collaborate with production/engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.
