Job summary
Option Care Health is hiring a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee home infusion pharmacy operations, ensuring safe dispensing, regulatory compliance and effective collaboration with nursing, delivery and reimbursement teams.
The role requires a PharmD, active state licensure, and 3–5 years in sterile or infusion settings, with strong project and people management. Travel minimal; competitive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Current, active Pharmacy license as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Experience in clean room or infusion pharmacy settings.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and manages appropriate patient care.
- Determines suitability of patients for home care.
- Assesses patients’ suitability for home care in accordance with policies.
- Directs the daily activities of the pharmacy department to prioritize pharmaceutical care.
- Oversees state and federal regulatory requirements for an alternate site pharmacy.
- May act as the pharmacist in charge per state regulation.
- Ensures staff are trained to use computers and admixture devices and safeguard confidentiality.
