Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead a comprehensive home infusion pharmacy program. The role coordinates patient services with nursing, delivery and reimbursement teams, and ensures safe, compliant pharmaceutical care for Option Care patients.

The supervisor oversees purchasing, security of medications, and staff development, while maintaining state and federal licensure requirements and best practices in medication management.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
Current, active Pharmacy license as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
3–5 years of experience in a clean room or infusion pharmacy setting (or 2 years plus ASHP residency or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Delivers and manages appropriate patient care.
Directs the daily activities of the pharmacy department to prioritize pharmaceutical care.
Oversees compliance with state/federal pharmacy regulations and licensure.
Assists the director of pharmacy to ensure licensure and training compliance.
Provides education to physicians, nurses and staff on home care pharmacy issues.
