The ideal candidate holds a PharmD, active state license, and 3–5 years in infusion or clean-room settings, with strong leadership and IT skills. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current, active Pharmacy license as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a clean room or infusion pharmacy setting OR 2 years of experience plus ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and manages appropriate patient care; determines suitability for home care.
• Directs daily activities of the pharmacy department to reflect priority on pharmaceutical care.
• Oversees state and federal regulatory requirements for an alternate site pharmacy; may act as pharmacist in charge.
• Ensures staff is trained to use computers and admixture devices while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Supports sales and management by explaining scope of services and educating managed care accounts.
