Job summary

Google is seeking a senior Technical Design, Engineering and Construction leader to oversee critical facilities such as data centers and heavy labs in Sunnyvale, CA. You will manage the full project lifecycle and provide technical guidance.

You will create business cases for executive approvals and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical Engineering, Finance, Controls, Security and Workplace Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in project management, business development, or engineering roles related to infrastructure.
• Experience developing and presenting business cases to executive leadership for approvals.
• Experience in construction to operations handover and third-party commissioning.
• Experience in project/program management with distributed teams.
• Experience with technology product life-cycle or localization.
