Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Share Campus Lead, Program Manager for Data Center Construction to oversee data center projects from inception to deployment.

You will coordinate design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring milestones are met across multiple offices and time zones. The role requires extensive experience with data center equipment and project management in a technology setting, with strong communication and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, and experience with start up/commissioning processes.
• 2 years of experience in project management, or managing projects in construction, infrastructure, or a technology-related field.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional teams, project timelines and costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
• Work effectively within a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions that meet the needs of the data center operations teams.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders using standardized project controls and reporting mechanisms.
