Job summary

S&P Global Ratings in the United States seeks a seasoned infrastructure credit analyst to deliver independent opinions and end-to-end credit analysis for North American infrastructure assets. You will contribute to surveillance and rating actions, shaping transparent, evidence-based conclusions.

You will lead financial modeling, risk assessment, and narrative construction for rating committees, while applying AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and maintain rigorous governance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in project finance, infrastructure finance, or related credit discipline.
• Ability to develop and support credit views and committee-ready materials across NA infrastructure sectors.
• Rigorous financial analysis including cash flow modeling, ratio and covenant analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coach Research Assistants and Rating Analysts on credit analysis and data discipline.
• Identify and propose AI-enabled workflow improvements and lightweight automations.
• Lead end-to-end credit analysis and ratings execution for assigned credits, including surveillance and portfolio updates.
• Prepare, review, and validate financial models, inputs, and outputs for rating purposes.
• Engage with management meetings and due diligence calls to present structured narratives to stakeholders.
