Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a senior analyst in New York to lead credit analysis across North America infrastructure credits, including power, midstream, refining, and digital infrastructure. You will drive rating committee materials, supervise surveillance, and integrate AI-driven workflows with rigorous governance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in credit/infrastructure analysis, strong communication, and experience guiding junior analysts through structured feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis, infrastructure finance, or project finance.
• Experience managing a portfolio of infrastructure credits and preparing committee-ready materials.
• Experience leading external analytical engagements and publishing rating reports.
• Coaching and mentoring junior analysts with structured feedback and quality reviews.
• Experience embedding generative AI/LLMs into analytical processes with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit analysis and prepare committee-ready materials for a portfolio of North American infrastructure credits.
• Manage portfolio surveillance and connect market developments to forward-looking risk themes; embed AI tools with governance.
• Lead external analytical engagements including management meetings and due diligence calls; publish high-quality rating reports.
• Ensure adherence to analytical methodology, confidentiality, and data governance; escalate risks early.
