Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a qualified professional to contribute to independent credit opinions on North American infrastructure assets. The role focuses on end-to-end credit analysis, surveillance, and portfolio management within a high-profile, growing sector.

You will develop rigorous rating materials and engage with senior stakeholders and rating committees, applying AI-enabled workflows where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or a related credit discipline such as ratings, banking, advisory, or investing.
• Ability to develop and support credit views, manage a portfolio of credits, and prepare committee-ready materials across North American infrastructure sectors.
• Strong financial analysis skills including cash flow modeling, ratio and covenant analysis, and applying accounting fundamentals to summarize risks and mitigants.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including drafting clear rating reports and presenting narratives to stakeholders and rating committees.
• Experience applying AI or large language model tools within analytical workflows with sound credit judgment.

Responsibilities

• Team contribution and capability building, coaching junior staff on credit analysis and analytics processes.
• Lead end-to-end credit analysis and ratings execution for assigned credits, including surveillance and portfolio updates.
• Prepare, review, and validate financial models and analytical outputs aligned to methodology and sector frameworks.
• Apply AI/LLM tools within recurring workflows while maintaining quality and governance.
• Engage with management meetings, due diligence calls, and surveillance discussions, translating analysis into clear client narratives.
