Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Information Security Officer for a remote-based role within the United States. You will oversee enterprise security procedures, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead security teams. Travel is minimal and interviews require video.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred.
• Nine or more years of experience in information systems security or computer operations.
• Experience with corporate and government security regulations.
• Experience with security software products.
• Experience with domain structures, user authentication, user profiles and digital signatures.
• Security clearance at the Secret level. CISSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of corporate-wide application security procedures in client environments to meet regulations.
• Ensures procedures meet business requirements and protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or loss.
• Oversees access controls to restrict system access to authorized users; supervises destruction of confidential information.
• Develops and implements detailed security procedures; leads security administrator teams and ensures compliance with client policies.
• Acts as SME on security procedures and audit compliance.
• Coords security programs to ensure policy compliance with government and company regulations.
• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Develops and conducts security education programs for staff.
• Investigates losses and security violations; recommends corrective actions and reports to senior management.
• Researches new security technologies to align with industry standards.
