Job summary

HDR is seeking an Industrial Water/Wastewater Team Lead to guide the production section and deliver complex water and wastewater projects. The role includes staff development, quality control, and collaboration with marketing on proposals.

The position may involve project management duties, client interaction, and leadership across multiple locations. Strong communication, organization, and engineering design capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the production section including staff development and quality control.
• Possibly function as Project Manager or QA lead on projects and manage duties.
• Coordinate staff administration and technical service functions across sections.
• Assist in marketing planning, proposals and interviews.
• Engage with industrial/public clients on projects and marketing efforts.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated via PM processes.
• Implement and monitor company policies within the team.
• Assist in selection, training and development of technical personnel.
• Collaborate with National Leaders and marketing staff on outreach.
• Direct project staff and lead water/wastewater projects; contribute to proposals.
• Provide project and task management; prepare engineering plans and reports.
• Perform other duties as needed.
