Job summary

HDR is seeking an Industrial Water/Wastewater Team Lead to drive project delivery across our national practice. You will oversee production sections, mentor staff, and support marketing efforts with clients and proposals.

The role may function as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver design calculations and technical reports for water and wastewater facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s preferred for senior roles.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial water/wastewater or related fields.
• Professional registration/certification may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of production section, staff development, profitability, quality control, and marketing support.
• May serve as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager and support production on projects.
• Coordinate administrative responsibilities and lead services with other sections.
• Involve in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews; engage with clients.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated via proactive project management.
• Lead engineering design and prepare plans for industrial water/wastewater facilities.
