Job summary
AE2S in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer to lead design and optimization of industrial wastewater systems across multiple sectors. You will guide technology selection, hydraulics, and utility integration while ensuring regulatory compliance and project success.
The role requires extensive experience, client interaction, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through startup.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- 10+ years of experience designing water or wastewater solutions.
- Experience interfacing with clients and leading multi-discipline projects.
- Experience in food and beverage industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, commissioning, and optimization of industrial wastewater collection and treatment systems.
- Serve as process technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop treatment solutions through studies, modeling, mass balances, and pilot testing.
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to meet permitting and compliance goals.
- Direct technical teams in preparing deliverables from concept through startup.
- Advise clients by troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities.
