Job summary

Eaton’s North America Sales division is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer - Industrial in Houston, TX. The role focuses on marketing and selling Eaton’s products and services to secure profitable orders within the local market. You will develop, grow, and maintain relationships with customers and Eaton distributors.

The position requires 5+ years in electrical sales/engineering, travel up to 25%, and a valid driver’s license. Base salary and incentives form a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered for this position; within 50-mile radius of Houston, TX only.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations.
• Quote projects and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare sales presentations to create product understanding.
• Build relationships with key customers to enhance long-term prospects.
• Coordinate with factories to resolve technical issues.
• Understand EatonCare support and proprietary systems like Bidmanager and VISTA.
