Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking a seasoned planning and scheduling professional to lead heavy industrial project controls. The role involves developing schedules, forecasting construction activities, and coordinating among disciplines to avoid safety and schedule conflicts.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year degree in construction science or related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and certifications such as AACE or PMI. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.
• Knowledge of company standards and good practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate among disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues.
• Develop and update schedules through meetings, interviews, and field verification.
• Monitor change notices and participate in hearings and committee meetings.
• Assist clients and teammates in development of construction and contract strategies for constructability, logistics and safety.
• Estimate durations and costs for activities.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software.
