Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced planning and scheduling professional to manage heavy industrial projects. The role involves forecasting construction activities, cost control, Earned Value, and change order management with support from field verification and meetings.

You will update schedules, coordinate with engineering disciplines and contractors, and help develop constructability strategies focused on logistics and safety. AACE/PMI certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor or Master in Construction Science or related field preferred.
• AACE/PMI certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues.
• Develop, monitor and update schedules through meetings, coordination interviews and field verification.
• Complete understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity.
• Monitor and maintain the change notice/change order management system.
• Assist in facilitating weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings.
• Developing, monitoring and updating schedules.
• Establish a progressive system for projects.
• Assist clients and teammates in developing construction and contract strategies for constructability, logistics and safety.
• Assist in quantity analysis for the duration of activities and for estimating purposes.
