Job summary

Saft seeks an Industrial Risk Manager to lead the company’s risk program and critical safety barriers. You will identify, assess, and mitigate major risks, coordinate with departments, and guide safety initiatives across sites. You will act as a technical authority on risk analyses and ensure regulatory alignment.

You will steer process safety activities, train staff, and participate in HSE leadership discussions, driving continuous improvement in safety culture and barrier integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial risk management.
• A thorough understanding of applicable industrial safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Fluency in English is a must, fluency in French is a plus.
• Experience in the battery industry.
• Experience using risk analysis tools.
• Experience implementing industrial safety programs.
• Experience training employees on industrial safety.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate major risks (fire, explosion, pollution and toxicity) associated with the company's operations.
• Develop and implement an industrial risk management program, including the critical safety barriers.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and training on industrial safety to employees.
• Participate in safety audits across Saft sites in the region.
• Coordinate inspections and regulatory communications.
• Ensure methodology consistency with group directives.
• Manage process safety risk analyses and allocate resources.
