Job summary

southern recruiting solutions, inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the site’s Safety, Health, Security, and Emergency Response programs. You will champion Safety Principles, Process Safety and Life Saving Rules while partnering with operations to reduce risk.

You will develop and implement safety policies, conduct hazard assessments, lead incident investigations, and drive KPI reporting to leadership. Relocation is provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, process safety management, industrial hygiene, emergency response, and hazardous materials management.

Responsibilities

• Champion the company's 20 Safety Principles, Process Safety, Behavioral Safety and Life Saving Rules.
• Lead Safety, Health, Security and Emergency Response programs across all operating areas.
• Develop, implement and improve safety policies, procedures and management systems.
