Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of health and safety in heavy industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Current HAZWOPER 40-hour certification with active refresher status.
• Ability to perform physical site inspections, including confined spaces and variable conditions.
• Proficiency documenting safety data, SDS records, and using reporting software.
• Strong leadership with conflict resolution and team guidance.

Responsibilities

• Direct safety initiatives for complex industrial operations with OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Conduct internal safety audits and drive continuous improvement at the site.
• Oversee safety protocols, hazardous materials management, confined spaces, and PPE.
• Coach and train staff; foster proactive safety mindset across departments.
• Collaborate with operations during turnarounds and emergencies.
• Monitor safety metrics and communicate insights to management.

• Execute internal safety audits and develop continuous improvement strategies to elevate site performance.
• Oversee critical safety protocols, including hazardous material management, confined space entry, and PPE enforcement.
• Provide expert coaching and training to staff, fostering a proactive safety mindset across all departments.
• Collaborate with operations leadership during high-stakes periods, such as facility turnarounds and emergency response scenarios.
• Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and communicate actionable insights to management.

Qualifications
