WSP Global Inc. in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to lead the planning, analysis, and delivery of energy-efficient industrial refrigeration systems for new facilities, renovations, and assessments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet code, safety, and sustainability goals.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and ensure documentation excellence while aligning with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE License is required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with ammonia and other refrigerants and related codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit with strong documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead refrigeration engineering from proposals through commissioning support.
• Design cold rooms, blast freezers, chillers and storage facilities.
• Calculate refrigeration loads, heat/mass balances, and system efficiency.
• Prepare datasheets, schedules, tender docs, and cost estimates.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and utility diagrams; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
